Flat Deck Mounting
The flat mounting base comes standard with every crane kit, the design of this is to be mounted on any flat horizontal surface. Ideal for fitting on
ute and truck decks and in the back of service vans, or on boat jetties. There is no limit on the fitting application, BACKAID can offer extra base plates so you can have the option to fit out to a range of fleet vehicles where your BACKAID crane can be shared between.
Always check there is adequate strength in the structure you intend to fit
to.

Wall Mounting
The wall mount is designed to be used in applications where extra height is required or there is not sufficient room to mount the flat mounting base, examples are on the heard board of truck decks, on the side of service body toolboxes, or mounted on the side of a building structure. Anywhere where a vehicle mount is the preferred option.

Tow Mounting - Ball
This design was added as an advanced version of the tow hitch system, this was for situations where vehicles fitted with tow balls that were not
removable.

Tow Mounting - Hitch
This system is ideal for those who don’t have room for fitting a vertical
or flat mounting base or just a portable system they can use thats not fixed to any particular vehicle, it’s a very simple a quick system to set up for situations where you want a portable mounting device that can be shared between a fleet of vehicle such as trucks, utes, cars, vans, “anything that has a tow ball system. The tow hitch gives flexibility to the user with its adjustable width and height options so it can be setup to suit every lift you set out to do. No engineering is required to use this system.

Adjustable Stabiliser Leg
Having a Manual leg is not compulsory and is offered as an option you can purchase along with your standard crane kit, depending on the size and weight of the vehicle or structer you have mounted your BACKAID to as to whether a manual leg is recommended, for smaller light weight vehicles like utes it is recommended. Having a manual leg prevents the twisting and movement of the ute structure when the crane is under load and being rotated, this gives a consistent level to the base of the crane as its loaded and rotated which makes slewing alot easier work to the operator specially on loads over 200KG. The manual leg when not in use can be stowed up inside the mounting base tube.
